How numbers work

When you create an account, you select a US area code and claim a real phone number from our available pool. That number is assigned to your account for the duration of your plan.

Trial users receive a 24-hour free number to try the service.
Paid plans provide continuous access to your number for the plan period.
When a number is released, it enters a cooling period before being reassigned.

Numbers are provided via Twilio's US telephony network. Calls and messages are routed through Twilio's infrastructure and our US-based backend services.
